RBI and NABARD Officials Commend Tribal Farmers’ Efforts during Pratappur Wadi Project Visit

When vision meets the village, transformation becomes a living reality. In the serene green expanse of Pratappur, where trees stand tall as silent witnesses to determination and growth, the TRIBES Wadi Project welcomed distinguished guests whose presence acknowledged and celebrated grassroots resilience.

Smt. Reeny Ajith, Regional Director of the Reserve Bank of India, and Dr. Gyanendra Madi, Chief General Manager of NABARD Chhattisgarh, visited the Wadi Project site on 23rd June 2025 and interacted with the tribal farmers engaged in the initiative. Deeply moved by the dedication and consistent efforts of the community, both dignitaries commended the farmers for their industrious spirit, sustainable agricultural practices, and the visible impact of their collective labor.

The visitors emphasized how such projects exemplify self-reliance, environmental consciousness, and rural empowerment. They also expressed strong appreciation for the role played by READS in facilitating, mentoring, and sustaining the Wadi Project in Pratappur. Their remarks reaffirmed the project's importance as a replicable model of tribal-led development supported by financial and institutional inclusion.

This visit not only reaffirmed institutional faith in grassroots initiatives but also encouraged the farmers and field teams to continue their journey with greater resolve. As trees mature under the watchful care of their cultivators, so too does the promise of a greener, more self-reliant tomorrow.
