My name is Kishore Kujur / Fabianus Kujur, a resident of Ketar village. Earlier, my financial condition was very weak. I have poor vision in both eyes, due to which I was unable to go out and do labour work. Because of this, my family faced a lot of difficulties in arranging for living and food.

In such a situation, I got the opportunity to develop a Wadi through NABARD's Wadi Development Programme and with the support of the organization READS (Rural Education and Development Society). Under this programme, I planted a Wadi on my approximately 1 acre of land and started cultivating various types of vegetables and crops in it.

By farming in the Wadi, I began earning a good income. From potato cultivation in the Wadi, I earned ₹20,000, from peas ₹15,000, from radish ₹3,000, and from groundnut ₹10,000. In this way, I received a total income of about ₹48,000 from 1 acre of Wadi.

Earlier, I didn't even have a mobile phone, but with the income from the Wadi, I bought a new mobile phone. Now, I am cultivating various types of vegetables in my Wadi, which is fulfilling my family's needs and has also improved our standard of living.

I, Kishore Kujur / Fabianus Kujur, express my heartfelt gratitude to NABARD and the organization READS for their support and guidance, thanks to which I am today able to farm in my Wadi and earn a good profit.
