Health Camp Organized Under Malnutrition Prevention Project at Village Saila, Manora Block, Jashpur

On 22nd March 2025, a health camp was successfully organized under the Malnutrition Prevention Project at Village Saila, Block Manora, District Jashpur, Chhattisgarh. The event was conducted as part of ongoing efforts to address health challenges and improve the nutritional status of rural and tribal populations in the region.


The camp witnessed active participation from the local community, with a total of 90 individuals undergoing health check-ups. Medical professionals conducted general health screenings, nutrition assessments, and provided essential consultations to the attendees. Awareness was also spread about basic hygiene, nutrition, and preventive health care measures, especially among women and children.


The project is financially supported by NABKISAN Finance Limited and sponsored by NAB Foundation, MumbaiREADS (Rural Education and Development Society), Chhattisgarh, is carrying out the program's field-level execution and coordination. The society has been actively working in the area to uplift community health and livelihoods.


Such camps form a crucial part of the wider strategy to combat malnutrition and improve the overall well-being of underprivileged communities. The collaboration between NAB Foundation, NABKISAN, and READS ensures that both financial and technical support reaches the grassroots level, enabling impactful and sustainable change.


The success of the camp reflects the commitment of all stakeholders towards building a healthier future for rural India, and further similar interventions are planned in other villages in the coming months.
