The intercrop cultivation brought in a steady income of Rs. 38,000 from Ramtil, providing a glimmer of hope for Vinod and his family.
But the real turning point came with the cultivation of chili on 50 decimal lands. Binod's hard work and dedication paid off as he harvested chilli worth Rs. 69,500, a remarkable sum considering the barren state of the land just a short while ago. This newfound prosperity not only brought financial stability to Vinod's household but also instilled a sense of pride and confidence in his abilities as a farmer.
The impact of the TDF Manora/Jashpur project was not limited to Binod alone. It reverberated across the village, inspiring other farmers to follow suit and reclaim their barren lands. The once sceptical villagers now looked towards the future with renewed optimism, fueled by the success stories emerging from their midst.
